In her Orange County home with her family and all her Indian traditions intact, Geeta Patel’s life seems perfect. Her only wish is to see her daughter Nisha get married. But all hell breaks loose when Nisha comes out as gay.

What follows is a heart-warming comedy about a woman forced to re-discover her true self - who in constantly striving to meet her expectations of life has forgotten the joy in living.
